Location of New Japan's TIME'S UP exterior shot revealed

May 4, 2019
By: Lou Pickney

New Japan got fans buzzing last night with a well-produced video hinting at a new apparent challenger for Juice Robinson's IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.

The video's initial establishing shot is somewhat obscured, aside from making it clear that it was a Live Nude Cabaret.

But I specialize in figuring out things that other people don't want figured out. And there were clues: palm trees, the semi-obscured name on the awning, the vertical MOTEL sign visible, and even the Burger King sign in the background.

So, what's the location? It's the Seventh Veil strip club in Los Angeles.

And perhaps this is merely a coincidence, but the Seventh Veil is located at 7180 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. And just slightly more than two miles down the road, at 8852 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, it's the Viper Room nightclub.

So, why is that relevant? Because the former Dean Ambrose, now back to using his original Jon Moxley name, posted a video on Twitter just after midnight EDT on May 1. And at the ~1:16 mark, there is a large image of the Viper Room logo on a wall as Moxley walks by.

Likely a matter of happenstance, but worth keeping in mind if nothing else.
